Reflecting on Jesus’ early years, his public ministry and human encounters, we see how deep empathic and compassionate understanding was rooted in his own life experiences.

By reflecting upon the miracles we see that Jesus was moved by love for the whole person: He was concerned not only with the spirit, but the body, intellect and emotions, from the most basic physiological needs, such as food, to what we call ‘higher’ needs for intellectual and spiritual growth.
Participants will have the choice to explore how our encounter with Jesus through prayer and the Scriptures can bring about positive change and growth. There will be input from the retreat guides and small group discussions. Only insofar as they wish will participants be expected to reveal anything about themselves during the sessions.
