The Safeguarding Sub-Committee aims to promote a wider awareness of child protection issues and to encourage appropriate and responsible behaviour wherever children are being supervised within a church- related environment. It is also the role of the Diocesan Safeguarding Sub-Committee to cooperate with the Police and Social Services when any allegation of abuse is made against a person representing the Church.
